YOJ Week 18 - The Ribbon Cuff

I like to play with metal. I like to make it move and I like to make it take organic shapes. Sometimes it's a hit, sometimes not quite....

Not exactly sure which category to put this one in....constructive crits welcome...

  2. Eva, I love the fact that you are not afraid to experiment. I am so wanting to branch out from wire and get more into metal work. Your work inspires me to learn more about metal.

  4. I like it. There's movement, fragility, stability and strength all in this piece. Love how it turned out.

  5. I would not expect to see beads in a bracelet like this and that is what makes it interesting!

  6. Eva, are you using a cuff blank for the base or are you hand forging? I love the ruffled affect. I still want to do a class. Just have to get my life settled down next month and get my baby girl home for the summer.

  7. Wow! I mean really wow! This cuff is absolutely amazing. Definitely the "hit" category. The organic folds are so unique and the beads spaced in between add a whole new dimension to it. Looks like a future Bead Fest class to me wink, wink ;)!
