There Really is Nothing New Under the Sun....
Turns out that rosette motif I've been riffing on? May actually have originated with the Saxons somewhere back in the 5th-7th centuries. And to give credit where credit is due, I first saw this posted on the Beads & Tricks blog, (in Italian)....
