Thank you for posting this awesome video on how to make the Wire Rosette Ring. What a great teaching style you have, Eva. From the moment that I saw this I was curious how you created such a pretty ring. I would like to your technique a go. could you tell me where I could find the 20 gauge mandrel?
Thanks Susan, I have become a bit of a camera ham, but hope to make more tuts as I explore new techniques.
The steel mandrels were purchased from Connie Fox at Jatayu but she no longer carries them. I have substituted 18 ga floral wire from my local hobby shop. They are not as durable but still do the job. There is another video in the works on just the coiling wire technique that will demonstrate a stabilizing technique to compensate for a non-steel wire. Hope to have it done in the next week or so and will post it here.
Hi Eva. Great tutorial! Thank you for sharing! Did you ever complete and post the tutorial for the stabilizing technique to compensate for coiling with a non-steel wire mandrel?
